His experience includes involvement in start-up and turnaround enterprises, international market development, major account management and new business development. Mr. Chirco graduated in 1968 with a BSEE from Rutgers College of Engineering, in 1972 with a MS Degree in Management Sciences and Operations Research from Stevens Institute of Technology, and in 1979 with an MBA Degree in Executive Sales Management from Columbia University.
For 17 years,Mr. Chirco held positions of increasing responsibility with AT&T, from Manufacturing Engineer and Department Chief of Engineering to National Account Manager and Division Manager (AVP). In these roles, he was responsible for product manufacturing, test systems design, data collection systems design, cost control, nationwide sales, and strategic business plans for computer and communications systems. He achieved 200% of his objectives and was twice recognized as “Man of the Year”, winning two AT&T Silver Corporate Awards.
Over the course of his career Mr. Chirco has held executive positions with ASI, Vertex and Aethra. In 1999, he became President of Intelligent Medicine, Inc, and in 2002 he became the CEO of First Genesis, Inc., where he directed the development of Mobius Health Information Services Exchange. It is in a large part due to Mr. Chirco’s innovation and dedication that, in 2010, First Genesis received recognition as a member of the top 50 Fastest Growing Technology Companies in the Houston, Texas area.
Mr. Chirco is married and has three daughters and five grandchildren. He serves on the Industry Advisory Board for Rutgers College of Engineering and is active in his community as an officer in the Knights of Columbus, his Catholic Church’s Pastoral Council, the Advisory Board of Directors for Rutgers College of Engineering, and the Board of Directors for Park’s Youth Ranch. He enjoys volunteering for community projects, bicycling, and traveling with his wife Connie.
